Our approach to care is likely not something you have seen before. Embodied Recovery combines elements of philosophy, ancient wisdom teachings, modern psychology, and a somatic approach to treating trauma, mental health challenges and substance use disorders. We are confident you will find our programming interesting, engaging, and impactful instead of the ‘same old, same old’.
The need for mental health resources is at an all-time high, and it is our hope that Embodied Recovery can be a trusted source of care and support for those in need. Wherever you are on your journey, by joining and becoming part of our community, we will ensure that your journey becomes one of transformation and lasting healing.
According to the most recent data from SAMHSA, about 17% of people aged 12 or older in the U.S. (approximately 48.5 million people) had a substance use disorder in the past year. Roughly 1 in 6 adults struggle with a substance use disorder in a given year. You are not alone. Our Empowered Living Teaching Series is inspired by Eastern philosophy, ancient wisdom, and modern psychology and science. Carefully curated, our teachings provide critical insights and tools to help you and your family members embark on a journey of recovery.
